Guided Rafting Details
Our popular Lower San Miguel River trip begins just 25 minutes from our shop in Ridgway and 30 minutes from Telluride, making it an easy half-day adventure for visitors staying anywhere in the region.
You’ll launch at Caddis Flats and end at Beaver Creek, venturing through 9 miles of class II-III rapids. It’s a great balance of fun and challenge, ideal for families, adventurous beginners, and intermediate rafters.
Age minimum for this trip is 8 years (50–70 lbs minimum)
Capacity per boat is 6 paddlers.
Note*** The San Miguel River is snowmelt-dependent, so conditions vary year to year. The season generally runs late May through mid-July, ending earlier in low snowpack years or extending into early August when flows are higher.

- Transportation to the put-in and back to the shop, with door-to-door pickup from your lodging available upon request
